You may (or may not!) remember that some time in the distant past
I was involved in developing a short story website called
Bibliofaction. I knew it was going to take some time to
get going; never in my wildest dreams did I think it would
take this long!

For months (and then some...) I've been telling everyone it was
on the "back burner" - and it's certainly been bubbling away
there for some time. But, we have been stirring it now and again
whenever a spare moment presented itself, and - at last -
it's now at a stage where I can give you a little taste.

We're planning to go live with the site in a week-or-so's time.
But before that, we wanted to show it to you first, because,
well, to be honest... we need your help. You see, we've got a
site, but no stories!

Well, that's not strictly true, we do have some stories, and
we're going to be adding them to the site over the next few
weeks, but we need more. To really get us cooking on gas, it
would be great if you could upload some of your stories as well.
I know that many of you have been writing over the past year for
the site; some of you have been writing for even longer, just
because that's what you love to do! Now it's time to show them
off to the world. If you create an account and upload your
stories while we're in beta (testing phase) we'll reward you
with one month's free membership of the site, for each and every
story you upload.

There's also a competition to enter entitled "writing from life"
so you could even be in with a chance of winning a £50 book
voucher as well.

Go there, create an account, and upload your stories.
Don't forget, by becoming a member of The Bibliofaction, you
keep the copyright to everything you upload, but grant us a
non-exclusive licence to publish your work online. Full terms
and conditions are available on the site.

Also, do let us know if you spot anything that doesn't work,
won't you - would be great to sort out any teething problems
during beta.
